Anyone interested in becoming a member should either attend a monthly general meeting, or come out and enjoy an evening of shooting at one of the shoots.  Club members and Range Officers are always on hand to offer help to new shooters.  Club dues are $50 per year.  You must be 18 or older, have a Club sponsor and an active National Rifle Association membership.  Please click on the link to the right for the application.

Alta Mesa Gun Club

The club has two trap fields, and one 5-stand field.  Club members have full use of the facilities.  The clubhouse is available to club members for private gatherings on a reservation basis and has a full kitchen and meeting/dining room which can accommodate up to 138 people.  When the range is inactive, hunting dogs can be working in the field, however, no hunting is allowed on the premises.

Alta Mesa Gun Club is a non-profit family organization that promotes the shotgun shooting sports, primarily trap shooting.  Regular shoots are open to the public and are held on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings.  Occasionally we have special holiday shoots, fundraiser shoots for various organizations, as well as the PITA Multiplex monthly shoot.  You can also come join us for our annual fundraising dinners.  We have our Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner held the Saturday of, or before St Patrick's Day, and our Tri-tip Dinner in the fall, check our calendar for more details.


​General membership meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at the clubhouse, located at 10100 Reigl Road in Wilton.  We offer our clubhouse for community events upon approval, formal, in person requests must be made at a monthly meeting.  For general club information and activities, contact President Marv Alley at amgcpresident@gmail.com.
